GCA series silicon rectifier chargers are used for ship battery charging. This charger is a modified product of discontinuous contact type conversion silicon rectifier charger. It uses a voltage regulator to achieve smooth adjustment of charging current, and at the same time adds power-off protection, that is, the power is cut off for some reason during the charging process. When re-feeding is required, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero first, so as to effectively prevent the instantaneous overcurrent generated during re-feeding and damage the battery and charger
